How do I play?

Each matchday you pick one team you think will win. If they win, you survive to the next round. A draw or a loss and you're eliminated — and you can never pick the same team twice. The last player left standing wins the pot.

How do I join a knockout?

Ask the organiser (the "commissioner") for their join code, tap Join a Knockout, enter the code, and verify with the one-time code we email you. You'll drop straight into their pool.

How do I create one? What's a commissioner?

Tap Create a Knockout and you become its commissioner — the manager/organiser. You pick the league, the starting matchday and the coin pot, then share your join code with your mates. Commissioners can manage matchdays and results from the admin tools.

Can I play in more than one knockout at a time?

Yes. You can take part in several knockouts simultaneously, across different leagues, and switch between them instantly. (The number of simultaneous knockouts depends on your subscription tier.)

What is the Oracle?

The Oracle is your built-in AI advisor for when you just can't decide. There are five characters with real match knowledge and very different styles — Morwen (safe hands), Mystic Gregg (chaos), Sir Winmoralot (prestige picks), Dave (deep stats) and Big Al (big physical teams). You get 5 shots each gameweek.

Which leagues are supported?

Eleven: the Premier League, Championship, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga, Eredivisie, Brasileirão, Scottish Premiership and Danish Superliga.

Is the group chat really private?

Yes. Each knockout's chat is end-to-end encrypted (X25519 key exchange + XSalsa20-Poly1305). Your private key never leaves your device, so the server only ever sees encrypted data — it can never read your messages.

How do I sign in? I don't see a password.

Sign-in is passwordless. Enter your email and we send you a one-time 6-digit code (and a magic link) that's valid for 15 minutes. No password to remember or lose.

Is this gambling?

No. Pots are virtual coins only — there's no real-money gambling. The app is suitable for all ages.

How do I delete my account or data?

Email us at hello@knockoutfootballsurvivor.com and we'll delete your account and associated data. You can turn off push notifications any time in your device settings.
